For as long as I can remember, I was called bossy. Not in a good way.

It was the word used when I spoke up, took charge, or got things done. And like many women, I carried a little shame about that—like I should be softer, quieter, smaller. But over time, I realised something: being bossy wasn’t the problem. It was a strength. It was leadership. It was care, courage, and clarity in action.

So I stopped apologising—and I built a brand around it instead.

With almost 20 years of clinical experience in critical care and renal nursing, and almost 15 in the commercial space, I’ve spent my career navigating fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I’ve led teams. I’ve managed chaos. And through it all, I’ve relied on one simple thing: being prepared. That’s why I created BOSSY. LIFESTYLE—a line of stylish, durable, no-nonsense bags designed for people who need to carry a lot and stay organised doing it.

I spent three years designing, testing, and perfecting our bags. From infection control to everyday function, we thought of everything—because that’s what bossy people do.

Today, I still work in ICU and Recovery, and as a Sales Manager for a large Australian Medical company, helping patients across Australia access best outcomes with exeptional patient care. ’m driven by the same mission that powers BOSSY. LIFESTYLE—delivering smart solutions that support real people. From patient safety to infection control to finding the perfect place for your lip gloss, I believe in thoughtful, practical design that makes life easier.

At home, I’m a proud mum of three amazing young men (adding to the chaos), active in community sport, and love spending time cooking and entertaining with my husband.
